Scanning is an important step in the digital printing process of your negative. Whether it is a color or black & white negative or a slide, a scan of a film is crucial to make a great print. I do use the Scitex Eversmart Supreme II. It offers 14000 dpi high resolution and a Dmax of 4.5 written through an amazing German Rodenstock Lens, which put the Supreme II technically way superior to most of the drum scanners. I do use a safe oil mounting for a perfect flat negative or chrome to obtain the most details from your image. Since there is no high speed rotation of the media your prints or films are completely safe. Feel free to call me at (347) 546 0548 if you have any questions.
